Meet Miss Barber
My name is Natalie Barber and I am incredibly excited to welcome your child into my classroom! At first glance, 4K means leaving home to experience school for the first time. Whether there are cheers or tears, my goal is still the same! It is my wish to help your child become a lifelong learner who is excited to come to school because of its safe and engaging environment.
To me, 4K means being curious, exploring play, making friends, learning from mistakes, gaining the building blocks of knowledge, and having fun. I hope that we share some of the same beliefs and I look forward to hearing your views as well. WHY EDUCATION?
"What do you want to be when you grow up?" the inevitable question that everyone is presented with and some cannot answer well into adulthood. As a first grader, I had my mind set on becoming a veterinarian or teacher. After forcing many younger siblings, cousins, and friends to play school with me for years, I decided which path to take and never looked back. I'm one of the lucky few who gets to not only have their dream job BUT have fun in the process! MY LIFE
I grew up in Racine, WI with my parents and younger sister, Haley. I met my best friend as a junior in high school and thankfully we both attended UW-Milwaukee, where we began dating. I received my Early Childhood Education degree in May of 2016 so we decided that it was time to move to an apartment in Hartford with our first cat. Hayden and I now reside in our first house, in West Bend, and with our two cats! We also just got engaged this summer! I've been blessed while working in the Slinger community for the past three years at not one but two of the elementary schools! I'm ecstatic about continuing my journey for many years to come.
